East European Resource Centre (EERC) is seeking a Housing Solicitor to join our fantastic team. This role is permanent and full-time.
We are seeking a solicitor with experience and expertise in housing law. This role will work with people in a variety of situations including those experiencing homelessness, precarious or poor-quality housing, ill health/disability, domestic abuse, and hate crime.
The successful candidate will likely provide legal advice, casework, and representation on a wide range of matters including homelessness, defending possession proceedings, housing applications, disrepair, harassment and discrimination, and private landlord disputes. It may be necessary to make representations to court but this is not likely to be routine.
Please let us know if you have expertise in another area of social welfare law and if you would be interested in continuing to practice this alongside housing law.
This role can be done entirely from our office or in a hybrid between office and work from home.
