Immigration

The UK has a very complex immigration system. Your rights and entitlements in the UK depend on your immigration status. It is important to gain and maintain a lawful immigration status in the UK.

Forms, rules, and laws around immigration change often. You can find up to date information on the UK government website.

How can we help?

We can help you to understand your immigration status and next steps. We can also help you to work through the forms and applications necessary to gain and maintain status in the UK. We can:

  • Inform you of your rights and options

  • Advice on evidencing residence in the UK

  • Help you update your UK visa and immigration account and get a share code

  • Advice on making a late application to the EU Settlement Scheme

  • Help you to upgrade from Pre-Settled to Settled Status

  • Make an application as a joining family member

  • Advice on the Ukraine Support Schemes

  • Advice on your appeal rights and deadlines

In the UK, immigration advice is regulated. EERC is OISC Level 3 approved. This means that we can help with a wide range of immigration matters.

Our advisers speak English, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian – and we can help in other languages with professional interpreters.

Immigration Advice and Fees

EERC provides immigration advice and assistance on a fixed-fee basis. The cost depends on the type and complexity of your case.

We offer an initial consultation for £50, during which an adviser will assess your circumstances, explain the relevant process and identify the evidence required. Depending on your case, further services may include assistance with EU Settlement Scheme applications, visas, settlement, British citizenship, immigration appeals and travel documents.

Thanks to fees paid by you, we provide free pro-bono immigration services to the most disadvantaged Eastern European migrants in London: people sleeping rough, victims of domestic violence fleeing their abusers, and victims of human trafficking/modern slavery fleeing their exploiters.

Thank you for making this happen.

Please read our fee scale for details of the services included, costs and any additional fees that may apply:

There are many immigration advice organisations available in the UK. Before you take advice from anyone – make sure they are registered with OISC as an Immigration Adviser or with the SRA as a Solicitor.
